This was a construction advisory and development services project. The new home of the Sacramento Kings National Basketball Association’s (NBA) franchise, Golden One Center, is the cornerstone of the new development and is the first LEED Platinum NBA Basketball Arena. The DOCO development takes up an entire city block in downtown Sacramento. We began providing project monitoring that included schedule review, forensic auditing, prevailing wage payroll review, executive reporting, community outreach, construction cost management, and safety program oversight. Our engagement became a full-time construction advisory role. The additional services included schedule 4D modeling for construction progress monitoring, a full-time on-sight construction management team, daily project progress review, change order cost analysis, and RFI and submittal coordination.
